As you know, Behavioral Health facilities can be places of great anxiety, grief and anger. Patients, their family members and even co-workers can lose control of their emotions and become verbally or physically aggressive. Your response to defensive behavior is often the key to avoiding a physical confrontation with someone who has lost control. In this interactive training, you will learn how to address disruptive or assaultive behavior in order to avoid a potential crisis. Techniques and strategies, which emphasize the prevention of violence, will be shared so that you can learn to effectively mitigate dangerous behavior. These skills will benefit you both in your professional and personal lives.
You are required to bring your program code to the training. Your program will be billed for the CPI Workbook following the training.
