Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children (CSEC) 101 provides participants with an overview of commercial sexual exploitation and victimization of youth, buyers and individuals who exploit youth. The training will provide participants with an overview of societal factors that contribute to commercial sexual exploitation such as the objectification and sexualization of women and girls, toxic masculinity, homophobia, transphobia, etc. Participants will also learn about CSEC risk factors and warning signs. Participants will be equipped to help others identify youth involved in the commercial sex industry. Attendees must attend both sessions to receive the six hours of credit.
