Trauma Resiliency Model Day 3 - 4 hours
Trauma Resiliency Model Day 3 - 4 hours is proudly presented to you by CEQ Santa Barbara County. Thank you. We hope that you enjoy your course.
The Trauma Resiliency Model is a somatic intervention ideal to be taught to clinical staff, peers, case workers, substance use counselors, and front staff. The model is designed to help folks regulate emotionally, manage stress, and enhance resiliency, bypassing verbal narrative. That is, the work is done with sensory awareness and descriptive language of physical experience, rather than processing or recounting a stressful or traumatic narrative. The model covers 9 skills. The first six skills can be taught to non-licensed individuals in four mornings of four hours each. Skills 7, 8, and 9 are taught to licensed clinicians in two more mornings of four hours each.
