This course provides an overview of 42 CFR requirements that apply to Substance Use Disorder Treatment and how they should be applied by DMC-ODS service providers. This overview includes information regarding 42 CFR part 2, confidentiality considerations and requirements, and the role of the Behavioral Wellness Compliance Program. The intent of this course is to ensure compliance with Federal and State health care regulations while providing ethical treatment to beneficiaries and their families. This course will also address how to apply privacy rules and will allow for participant discussion regarding current issues.
