Effective and competent clinical supervision is a fundamental component for the development of well-trained clinicians. This course will cover specialty topics in clinical supervision and provides additional information to build upon previous training in basic clinical supervision concepts. Course material will cover culturally sensitive clinical supervision and address the legal and ethical aspects involved in clinical supervision. Current supervisors only need to complete this course (6 hours) in order to fulfill the requirements of of clinical supervision training every two years. This course meets the supervision training requirement to provide clinical supervision to unlicensed clinicians (social work, marriage and family therapy, and professional clinical counselor associates and unlicensed psychologists).
